Ok, about 2 years ago, I had a front end collision and messed up my corner lights. The Del Sol corner lights arent attached, and have their own wire harness for the bulbs to plug into. I dont have that anymore. Instead, I just have 3 wires hanging with I have to clamp onto the terminals manually. If the wires touch, I blow a fuse. That said:

I go to adjust the light because it's got some water in it (cheap temp corner lights). When you pay for cheap lights, thats exactly what you get. So I take it off. I get the water out and I go to wire it back up. I thought I wired it up so I put it back together and got ready to leave. I checked all the lights to make sure they were working fine. Uhh ohhh ... no turn signals. WTF? So I go and take apart the headlight thinking I didnt put the wires back together. SHIT! They touch. I lose the turn signals and insturment panel lights.

Fuse #1.

I crawl up under my dashboard and replace the fuse. Still ... the lights arent flashing when I turn on the signals. They're on, but no flash. Once again, I assume my wiring is incorrect. SHIT! They touch again. Lost both turn signals and insturment panel lights.

Fuse #2.

I crawl up under the dashboard again and wouldn't ya know? I blew another 10amp fuse. Gay. So I dig thru my fathers garage (I was over at his house doing all this) and find some 10amp fuses. I replace. But .... the light still isnt working. WTF? I'm getting pissed off now and in the process of redoing my wiring. SHIT! I touch the wires again and blew yet another fuse.

Fuse #3.

Ok, I wised up this time. I wrapped the wires except the very tips with plug onto the terminals in electrical tape. But still ... no lights. Ok, I'm totally confused at this point so I pull out the manual. I hate manuals. According to the manual (Haynes) there are 4 relays under the steering column for electrical devices such as power windows and such. I only find one. Well ... shit. This has to be it, so I pull out the relay assuming its bad and was about to call it a night. I figured I could go and replace it tomorrow. I get ready to leave with no turn signals working and realize that my power windows arent working. I'm totally lost now. I plug back in the relay and they work, so I'm thinking ... ok, where the hell is the relay for the turn signals?! AHHH!!!

I read the book some more and it's telling me to look right where I'm looking, but theres NOT A DAMN THING THERE! So I decided to look under the hood in the engine bay fuse panel. I didn't think it would be there but what the hell. I pop the hood, and wouldnt ya know? The 3 missing relays!!! AND a blown 10amp fuse for "hazard" lights.

Fuse #4.

I replace the fuse and all works.
