Denso Irridiums are good, but they cost $12 a piece. They also come with a huge gap from the factory. Supposedly the tiny electrode can fire with a larger gap, thereby giving a larger spark. However, if you're running with high cylinder pressure, you might want to close the gap a little to prevent misfires (running 15 psi in my Passat turbo I had to close the gap a bit).
