I was given the following cars to drive:
98 Tahoe Sport, 95 Jag XJS, 96 Xj6, 99XJ8, 98 RX300, 99 Land Cruiser.

I could pick whichever I wanted, whenever I wanted, all through high school and college. Pretty much the day I graduated, I was totally "on my own" and went out and bought a 95 4Runner (this was last August). Started making my own money, traded in the 4Runner for my car now and couldn't be happier.

I think wether or not a child is spoiler or not depends on the situation, not all are the same. I LITERALLY walked away from a multi-million dollar inheritence b/c my stepfather was an asshole after my mother died and I later found out he was cheating on her.

So basically....I it's a case by case basis. Nobody would not take a free car (unless it's my situation where you wouldnt accept anything from someone).
