Keep in mind that there's TWO kinds of black side moulding for the 4G Accord. There's the nice shiny painted 10th Anniversary side mouldings, and the regular crappo flat black ones on the DX, LX, EX. The 10th Ann and the SE have body colored mouldings (but you already knew that).

A cheap alternative is using Rustoleum Semi-Gloss or Satin Black. It will give the apprearance of having been Armor-Alled without that oily, greasy feel to it; and you'd never have to reapply the Armor-All. The semi-gloss or satin works well on wiper arms and stock chin spoilers (for when you slop wax on them while waxing your car and didn't catch it, making it hazy white). This painting has been tested on both my Accord and a 93 BMW 318is, with excellent results.

Stay away from the gloss or high gloss black, as it doesn't look good on most cars (but its your car, so what the heck), and if it cracks due to door dings, it'll be more obvious (as we found out on the BMW).

tc all.
