ClubEL is extending an open invitation for anybody and everybody to join us on our whistler/squamish cruise/hike. Here is a tentative plan for our whistler cruise. feel free to offer suggestions and criticism so that we can finalize a cruise that will accomodate everbody. if you need any further clarification, you can contact me by pm, icq, or email.


Meet up at BCIT parking lot N at 12pm
Leave BCIT by 1pm
Make sure everyone has a full tank..(if its hot, pick up a dessert from McDicks)
Head to Porteau Cove and take pics.
Then we leave for Whistler Village by about 2..3 latest.
We eat, shop, use the washrooms, and just chill for a bit. This may include one of those lift tour rides. The price is about $20 per head. For whoever isn't interested in going on the lift, we can split the group up into two, and meet up after....so long as atleast one person in each group has a cell. Then by 7 or 8 we go leave for sqaumish...and camp. Camping may involve sleeping in a tent, or pulling out the back seats and sleeping in our cars. What better way to bond with our EL's eh?
In the morning we do the Chief. (hike). There are 3 possible trails we can do, but we will decide when we get there.
I am trying to find out how the fire pits work out there...so that we can possible make some food. If not, we can just rough it out for one nite. We're all tough guys.....right?

Pls sign up and post your opinions/suggestions/etc. Also, post whether or not you have a sleeping bag, tent, and other such camping equipment.

btw: whoever doesnt want to stay the nite can always head back early. Maps will be provided. Hopefully all of you can chill tho. This will be fun! TcX promises an awesome view from the place the trail takes us on our hike.
