Depending on how far down the road you are looking at buying the car and doing the swap the price will vary for parts. If you can find a wrecked 03 coupe manual or someone parting it out you could probably pick up all the parts to do it for around 2 grand or so.
Not a cheap project at all because of the year of the vehicle but it is definitley possible to do.
Auto to manual tranny swaps are done all the time and are pretty straight forward although considering the year of the car again there may be a few issues here and there....but definitley possible to do.
Fawk the haters and naysayers and do what you want.....I would do the conversion if I had the 03 sedan as well.
