hey I would like to know why some of you prefer the p28 over the p72? both being OBD1.... I know you can chip both of them. P72 has the knock sensor which the p28 doesn't have. So are there any special reasons for getting the p28 ecu? Does the p28 operate the secondary butterfly also? How important is that if you have a stock IM? I know it's useless with the p72 to operate secondary butterfly if you have the skunk2 IM. I see alot of people getting the p28's with their setup. I have an OBD2 right now with my 00 b18c1 swap. I got ctr cams, i/h, hi-flo cat, flywheel, and a clutch. I don't plan doing any other mods to my car in the future because i'm broke. What do you guys think I should do? I want to convert it to OBD1 to get rid of my CEL and plus i heard you can feel a difference in power when you convert it. any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated... thanx!
ps- is 100.00 for a virgin p28 a good deal?
