i have a 95 civic ex, vtec d16, and my friend has a 93 accord ex with an f22 non vtec, . both are stock. which one is quicker, we havent had the time to race and it hasreally been bothering me. my car also has 100,000 miles less than his does.

I have a D15B7 and an F22B1 (VTEC). F22 is auto and D15 is 5-speed. Even if I drop the clutch from redline on the D15 it's no where near the acceleration of my F22 off the line to 125mph. Considering the F22 non-VTEC has like 10hp less and 5tq less and the D16 has less hp/tq combines...I'll place my vote on Accord. My friend with a D16 beat me BUT he did have getted inteior, underdrive pulley, header, exhaust, bigger fuel rail and stiff suspension with limited squat for better traction. I was stock. He beat me until 75mph where I handed him his ass to 130.

 

I had a 98 ex and my bro had a 95 accord lx non vtec. He used to take me every time. both cars were stock

bench racing= :ghey:.....but the civic would win i have driven a friends 93 accord ex with simple bolt-ons in the 1/8 mile and i ran a 11.23 as for my civic when it was stock ran a 10.87. but thats from my experience. stock for stock the civic wins
