Default blown shocks?

so, in my new car, the ride is really washy, and it feels like the wheel don't want to stay on the ground.....i.e. when i hit rough road and i'm turning, pulls alot to the side i'm turning. it's been to the point where i think i'm going to lose control and slide into something. now, i already know i want to get new shocks (and springs) but is that going to fix it? is that the cause of it?

have you checked the tread depth of your tires? just a thought. and there can be a number of things that could be causing it, bad bushings, alignment off...just dont think its one thing and spend all your money on it when its not the cause.

check your tie rods.

check the alignment and the tires .

blown shocks usually will make your car bouncy as hell b/c you are riding on the springs alone.

the tread on the tires is fine, i'll double check the alignment, but haven't noticed anything off about it.

just feels like it really wants to slide. :dunno:
