engine light

i just intalled a test pipe on my 00civic si but is there a way to get rid of my engine light

throw the code,...see what code it brings up,..probaby bringing up an O2 sensor code,...if im correct,..your gonna probably have to put a o2 in that test pipe

What would happen if he didnt install that o2 sensor? would it affect the performance of the engine??
