when someone asked about the 1157 and 1156 being the same and you said yes but the 1157 is dual filament.

I used red transparent spray paint on all of the bulbs in my EX gauge cluster. Had them painted for about 6 months and still holding up fine.

I found some amber bulbs that fit in the cluster and climate control at autozone/knecks/shucks in packs of 2. Id look there if your too lazy for the DIY :fawk:

Actually the bulbs turned out more orange/amber than red. I think it looks :thumbup: I do need to respray them though. Ill take a picture tonight and post it up for ya.

Also, another DIY i did was make my own JDM clock. I used amber transparent brush on paint and painted it on a 2 liter bottle, cut out the square to fit over the clock, and put it all back together. Looks prety good during the day and night. Not as bright as the real JDM ones though.

Ill post pics up tonight of both.
