A friend of mine is trying help me out with getting a motor, he knows another honda guy that has a freshly built motor, this is what it includes and how much I can get it for.

B18B Full Block, Head, Tranny
forged pistons
forged rods
all balanced and built
underdrive pulleys
turbo manifold
T3 Turbo
new water pump
new oil pump
moroso oil pan
Intake Manifold

its got a bunch of other things too, unfortunately I don't know specifics, but I am going to try and find out. This guy built this motor and is looking for a hatch to put it in, but he's always willing to sell.

0 miles...the thing hasn't even been started yet.

anyway...

its mine for $3300 and I think he'll put it in for me too...not that I would need help, but still, he's done it before, I haven't.

 

I think that's somewhat reasonable... Turbo alone is about $1500. I think you maybe be able to talk it down to high $2K

 

mind you this thing was just completed...its basically a full swap with a turbo and manifold...and forged internals

 

I say its a pretty good deal Jon, especially cause he'll probably assist in the install...w/o install I would say $2500

But its you're call and who knows if it'll still be for sale in Spring :dunno:

 

i talked to my cousin who is really into that kinda stuff and to him, it sounded like a pretty good deal
