Hiding my nitrous kit,...
Any of those idea's are good, just make sure it's actually bolted down pretty secure and not vulnerable in the case of an accident (knock wood)

well sorry for the delay guys,...here is the pictures (well the ones i could get before my batteries died
h: )
okay here is the picture of how i hid the zex management box,..i had other locations in my mind like hte glove box but i already relocated my ECU in the glove box since my LS ECU wouldnt fit behind the kick panel anymore,...so this is behind the lower console behind the cupholder,...i have no idea how those brackets got rusted
now this looks like your normal 96-98 civic cupholders with the lid down (please excuse the runabout turn signal module,..i got that wayyy back in the day,..im a ricer what can i say,...for pictures of my cleaner car,..check the link in my sig
)
but when i let the lid go up (the lid doesnt stay down right now because anyone who has a 96-98 civic knows the lids are prone to not staying down after awhile,..im gonna use magnets to keep it down) ,...it reveals my arming switch and nitrous pressure gauge,...the lid helps hide the gauge and arming switch from people who look into the car,...i have a switch that controls the LED light i used to back lit the gauge also
now people have been wondering where i hid that big ass 10lb nitrous bottle (even though OC_Civic gave me away kinda
) ,...well here it is boys
the bottle is bolted to a couple boards underneath the carpet,..the main nitrous line is plumbed right into the bottom of the bag,...i hid the bottle here for a couple reasons,..one,.i wanted room in the hatch area again,..and 2,..for the people who had nitrous and didnt have that nifty little remote bottle opener,..dont you just hate it when you come up on a car that you know you can take,...say you have a Dseries civic but with the bottle you can take out GSRs and what not,..well dont you hate it when that GSR rolls up on you and then leaves you because you didnt have your bottle open,...well all i have to do is reach back and open the bottle while still seated comfortably in the driver seat,...plus it gives me an excuse to not have a 4th passenger (my car scrapes with 4 people in the car
h: ) "can i ride with you? nah i dont want you stepping on my,..uhhh...gym bag" :chuckles:
a couple things to note,...i didnt take pictures under the hood because my batteries died,..if you guys want pictures,..ask,..and ill take em,..my purge button is on my footrest,..that was pretty much hidden even when my zex kit was visible,...i put it there because my friends are purge happy so if i put it anywhere where thye can reach,..i would be out of nitrous without even spraying it once,..the nitrous line that goes from the purple box to the intake is ran underneath the intake and i put black split loom around it just in case someone takes a hard hard look under the hood,...action shots of the dual purge will come soon ,...took me about 5-6 hours for the complete install,...running the purge setup probably took the longest,... if you guys have any question...just ask,...peace

Good idea.. I like where the switches are too.
After you got me thinking about it, I think it would work well if you you could sink the bottle into a teg rear seat console.. The only problem is the bottle would be too big so you'd have to come up with something else on top of that.
