I don't have any experience with using the civic harnesses because I had to go from OBD1 to OBD2 on the motor and I had a harness with the engine.
i thought hondata only works with OBD1

Well I went out today on my lunch break to check on things. First of all I couldn't get my hands on a digi cam today so I don't have a pic of that dam wire for you westcoast...sorry but I was very happy to find that the wiring harness was complete. He also found out the positioning for the plug. It plugs into the intake manifold and was very hard to see. Oh well at least that problem is solved.

The rear mount and gasket for the intake manifold are on their way also..... woohoo!!! Should be hear on Wednesday. I will keep you updated guys!

h: one more day and the swap should be complete. Wiring is done. now we have to put the rear mount in, attach the intake and the exaust manifolds, attach the b-pipe to the cat 2.5">2.1/4":dunno: and put my sway bars on.

I'm too excited to breathe Now if everything goes according to plan I will be doing a little of this.....

  :drunk: :boink:

update.

engine is almost complete. We attached the exaust manifold, shift linkage, power steering pump (not fun...I will explain), front sway bar, driverside lower motor mount, and did some cosmedic work(paint some parts)

power steering pump hose needed to be modified in order to hook up to the Type R pump. We had to weld a connector on.....
It worked very well

Tomorrow the rear mount and intake gasket will be here. Then the wiring and some other minor details have to be worked out then we are set.....hehe....I simply can't wait I will have some finishing pics soon guys!! Thanks for all the help you guys threw my way
