I swapped in a D15B last summer, and for sum reason it revs on its own, like while im driving, ill floor it then from 3k it'll jump to like 8k which is not kool, and its not like the tach is screwed up, its my engine cuz i can feel it pull, so i dont kno wuts up

your throttle may be getting stuck open...

 

check throttle cable, throttle body may be dirty, something could be wrong with the throttle pedal itself.

You may need to take it to a shop man.

Oh, and a D15B fuel cutoff is like 6200/6500 so there's no way it could rev to 8k.
