i was wondering if you guys know how to take off the climate control of a 93 honda civic hatchback, because my bolt light went out, and waas wondering if anyone knows how to do that

 

It's a pain in the ass.

check out www.jdmfan.com for a DIY. They replace the face plate with the JDM one and it has pics. It will at least help you figure out how to take it out. (sometimes that site's down...)

Ya... you have to take your lower dash off (the one with the coin holder and cig lighter) AND you need to take your radio out.

there's a screw that screws into the cc unit vertically from the bottom.

You also need to remove the cable and the wiring from the back.
Once you have all that off, the unit should come out and there's screws that hold the face plate on. The hardest part is trying to maneuver the loose face plate aroune the slider knobs. Mine wouldn't come off so I just had to make due.

you should be able to get it from there.
