tein ss height adjustment
hi, i have a 98 civic, i installed the tein ss recently, and i set the height to the exact height it was written in the manual. Front/ 305mm from fender to center of wheel and rear/300mm, cuz i have subs in the trunk, and its abit lowered too.
When i sometimes turn too hard like a U-turn or go thru speed bumps, i always scratched the mud flap in the front. I am just wondering, what are u guys setting for the tein ss and at what height is would give out the best performance?
thx

I have that problem also, you might want to adjust the dampening to a harder setting as well.

do you guys use any camber kit with your tein ss?
do you need a camber kit for the recommended ride height for tein ss?
also if my alignment isn't alignment very straight, would it damage anything?
thx

if u go lower then 1.5 inch, get a camber kit.
there is no universal pre side ride height setting on the ss or any coilover setup, even in that tein manual. its just an starting point. you have to play with it and adjust the height and dampening to best suit ur needs. everyone will have a different setup best suited to their needs and comfront. so ur mudflaps r rubbing, raise it, too high, take them off and lower it.
if your alignment is off, you can wear ur tires out quicker with uneven thread wear.
