Strut Bar/sway bar
i have a 98 civic ex coupe, what is a good strut bar and sway bars?
should I get the one like the factory strut bar that bolted on the body like the SI civic, or should I get those ones that bolts on the struts?
is there any difference between them?
thanks you!!

ST makes one that connects to both.
The ones that connect to the LCA's can rip out.
Get a ITR rear sway with a Beaks sub-frame kit.

strut bars shouldnt matter. they all do the same job.
as for sway bars, if you dont want to spend extra money on extra parts, go with the ST (supsension techniques) for the civic. otherwise, DSC has recommended a good setup with the ITR sway.

all strut bars are suppose to do the same job but some are just other crap. for example, dont get one of those chrome aluminum ones off ebay or the ones made by OBX etc. they are poorly made, hollow, and the screws sometimes come loose. on top of that they do nothing and are only for looks. (sadly, i used to have one..live and learn) like fourthgenhatch said, neuspeed is one of the best strut bar makers out there. spoon, mugen, are also good.. but also a lot of $$$

I forgot to add that you should look for non adjustable ones, and definately stay away from DC sports bars.
