Default 'Where to start...

'Hey all...I just wanted to first say this is my first time in the board and I am some what interested in showing up on the import scene. I'll be honest, I have totaly NO expereince in the Import Background what so ever, so please don't mock me. I just wanted some suggestions on where to learn and what to look for if I was to get an import...

'Well I'm just interested in getting on the scene. I notice alot of people around Pensacola have those fake ass Rice Rockets that they copy from Paul Walker and that ****in F & F movie - and i dont want that...I want something that is clean, not just thrown together...but yes...I do have the money, just not the knowledge. Gotta learn somewhere.

Performance - alright. I dont know jack crap about Imports. I mean, I did buy an import tuner and stuff but those crazy bastards pump WAYYY to much money into to that. But I guess they got cash to burn. I do have a question, what exactly is a chasis code? Remember...dont laugh at me...I do know nothing. =)

In my opinion, if i had the money either buy like a 99 civic si (that with a dohc vtec motor) and turbo it if you want and keep clean with a lip kit, not too flashy 17's, lowered, cat back exhaust, or ...buy any hatch or coupe civic or integra with a non vtec motor that is in good shape and start from scratch with an engine swap and do it clean, the hardest part of the import scene is knowing where to stop with all the neon light bullshit and stickers so becarefull with that and dont worry about making the car too loud if its fast itll hum perfectly eitherway
