Default B20z

Does anyone recommend any place in the Los Angeles area the will install a complete B20Z engine into a 95 civic sedan lx. That will install all parts to get it running along with a/c.

I need to do the swap ASAP cause my car is currently dead. And why buy a new head for the stock engine (1.5L).

For turbo, it doesn't get much better then the B20B/Z in the Honda family.

you can probably get the engine from hmotors. i think they're located fairly close to there. then if you had buddies that could help you put it in.... cheaper and a learning experience.

You'll need to selvee that block before running high boost.

You might get away with it.
Go to Honda-Tech and search in the Forced Induction forum, you'll learn a lot.

www.hmotors.com just gives a email link, not an website.
Does anyone know of any places with a telephone number or website to look or call. And if you have any experience with them, i need to get the car fixed asap. i hope no longer than next tuesday.

Hmotors doesn't have the B20Z in stock, and I'm next in line, so BACK OFF!!! :fawk: Thats the problem with the B20Z, they only get it from insurance companies, so its pretty hard to come by... lots of waiting around.

If youre planning to turbo, the B20B is a better motor. Its lower compression is safer for boost, and allows a little more slack in tuning. The website is hmotorsonline.com
