b20 vtec setup questions
hey i just wanted to learn some more about the b20 vtec setup..
which b20 is best ive heard about b20b and b20z what is difference and whats better?
would this work? b16 complete swap.. and then change the block for a b20b block?
is it a torque monster?
good autocross car?
any more info would be great thanks

I know this is an old post but there is no answer so I'll have at it.
the b20b is from 97-98 crv, has 8.8: 1 cr, and 126 hp and 133 ft lbs
the b20z is from 99-00 crv, has 9.6 cr, and 146 hp and 133 ft lbs
the b20z has a 6700 rpm redline while the b20b is limited to 6200.
thats the only differences in the engine blocks, the intake manifolds are different for the two engines also, but if you go vtec just use the vtec manifold
