Default Slight change in engine plans guys :)

Well I was talking to the guy who is installing/buying my engine for me today. Get this >>>he has alot of contacts in Montreal and upon taking a trip up there over the weekend to check on my engine (B18C), he discovered another engine that I might like to purchase instead. CTR my friends :naughty:

I have decided to go with this engine. Oh ya Slacker my man>> I told him to bring the ecu back with him just to verify with my own eyes. JUST IN CASE

B16B PCT

we also just verified that the ecu matches up with my wiring harness as well which will take some of the difficulty out of the install

Anyone else on the board have this swap??

I will have some pics hopefully some

I would have told him to shut up and give me my B18C. I'm not a big B16B fan, and there aren't a whole lot of people (if any) that have the swap simply because it is not worth it when compaired to the B18C and B18C Type R.

It would get you some originality points though, since it is uncommon. I like unusual stuff.

I think it's cool, keeping a 1.6 in the Civic.

Hey thanks guys. No I do have to agree with you guys and I could have told him to simply stick with the plan but the great thing lied in the price. B18C=B16B $$$$ wise. I know I know this is not normal but he said that he has done alot of business with this guy in Montreal and he gave him a break in price. This kind of seems a little bit shaddy to me but I'm not complaining As long as it is what he says it is and all the necessary parts come with the swap. I will keep you guys posted. It should be here Fri

Thaveen thanks bro and I have to agree about the torque thing
