extreme delsol swap
Do a search, man, this has been covered before. But in short, NO, it's not possible without MAJOR custom work and a MAJOR monetary investment. There's no place for a driveshaft without cutting and remaking the floorpans and other structural pieces, and you'll need a custom gas tank as well. The lengths of the two cars are different enough to create major havok with a stock-for-stock drop in - assuming you did the work to make everything fit - and would neccesitate custom pieces. It would, in essence, end up being a hand-built car and unless you are related closely to the owner of the shop that did the work (or own the shop yourself), no one will service it either.
Trust me, it would have been done many times if it were at all feasible. The best way to go as far as custom work goes, is to mount an engine in the rear and sit a transaxle right beneath it. I think there have been some NSX engines with custom transmissions put into Sol frames. It would be interesting, also, if someone made a two-engine Sol.
