Odometer question
I just put in a gauge cluster from a European Civic (don't know what kind) that has a tach on it. Everything works great, but I don't know if the odometer is reading in kilometers from now on or if it was changed to miles somehow (different wiring?). If anybody knows, info would be great.

Still here... sorta...
I had this conversation with a Japanese guy one time. The VTi i a step down from the Ferio. I know the Ferio is a DOHC VTEC... I think the VTi is just like an EX, but I'm not 100% sure.
I know doood knows... he helped explain it to me.

the odo is in kilos. why would it read in kilos and display the distance traveled in miles?
looks like u can swap ur stock speedo dial/gauge with the one in the new cluster. the VTi in the uk was a b16a powered hatch, but that doesnt look like a vti cluster b/c the redline is too low
edit: did a quick search on google: 6g VTi = 96-01 1.6L dohc vtec hatch, 158hp@7600 rpm, so that def. is not a EDM VTi cluster

Oh by the way, it does read in kilometers. My friend has been using the car for the past month to go to school so I haven't been able to check, but he drove about 25 miles or so and the trip odometer read 40.

3 screws hold the speedo/odo gauge into the cluster. No wiring changes need to be done. The only problem you'll have swapping them is that the gauge faces won't match color-scheme-wise. Pretty cool, though. Looks like it would go well with Cobalt gauges.
