I did the same last night I'll admit. 4am after dropping my girl off, hit the highway and went. At about 100mph it just doesn't want to go anymore. Barely made it to 104...D15B7, blah...

 

I think maybe the 6th gen USDM civics have a govenor, but the 5th gens don't? It's something like that... and JDM engines speed govern at 115, I beleive, or 112, right around there...
