Default Rear swaybar?

On the Del Sol Si, are new rear control arms needed to mount the VTEC swaybar? I was thinking of picking one up soon to improve my handling. If I need new control arms, are they difficult to install?

Yes you do need the lower control arms from the VTEC or GSR. I don't know how hard they are to install, but seems easy. There's some on ebay that's going to end soon. I want to buy them, but I shouldn't spend the money. Do a search for "civic lower control arms"

Thanks a ton! I'm looking into the Mugen strut bars also. Thanks again for the help. I knew the S model needed control arms, but I wasn't sure about the Si.

I gotta dig this up. I just got my swaybar today, and I'm looking to install it.

1. Has anyone done this and can I get some instructions and parts list?

2. Could someone help me find out how to do it? Will I need to compress springs? Take off brakes?

Thanks in advance.

What sway bar did you get, and what all did you get with it? It helps to tell you what you need.

It came with

- rear swaybar from Del Sol VTEC
- rear lower control arms
- these two other pieces that are wrapped in place around the bar.

I think that's what's bubble wrapped around the swaybar. As far as I know, it's everything.
