People running on Skunk2, is the top of the shifter threaded for any type of shift knob? I saw the pic on a site but the top has a small knotch on it...how are yours setup? BTW, is $120 for it a good price...can't find it anywhere else cheaper, where did you all get the Skunk2 from? Thanks...

I spent $18, I don't really care if it breaks. I'd have to break at least 5 more to equal a Skunk2 so :fawk:

if it broke low enough WHILE driving that would probably suck pretty bad

I just hope it doesn't break while they are shifting aggressively...

I have heard MANY stories of people with those crappy cheap short shifters...they snapped within a few months and when it snapped, they punched themselves in the face holding the knob and the remainder of the shifter...

i got a rd adjustable shifter on my hatch, it's cool but you have to really torque on the screws that hold it in place. i was driving once when the adjustment screw came loose, felt like i was shifting a truck shifter. i got it for $80 back in 97 don't think they make em' anymore. my wife's got a zspeed short shifter on her sol, can't really tell you much there. i think the zspeed ran us $80 too.
