What would a civic ex run with I/H/E with a 55 shot in the 1/4 mile time?? What else can be done to the d16y8 without turbo? my goal is low 14's maybe 13's with nitrous.

 

just nitrous won't let you run 13/14s, a swap and a built motor with nitrous would

 

:werd: you will be lucky to get mid 15's is my guess. (never been to a track)

 

nitrous will get you into the 14s easily...on a manual that is.

Nitrous can get you in the 13's. If you build the hell out of the engine, that is.

 

umm building the hell out of the engine will yeild you better results then just 13s

 

Well, it depends on what degree of building the hell out of it you do.

If you go apeshit and take out a few loans, there is no limit with nitrous.

 

My best (only been to the track three times now) was 15.5xx at 88.xx mph. I ran the 17's and had major launch issues. I have a dx motor and a 65 shot. I know high 14's are possible with my steel wheels and better tires. My lack of experience still owns me. Good luck with your setup and all.

 

i have a manual 98 ex so it should be alot faster than the auto ex's. I heard they arent too good
