The bulbs for the high beam look horrendously small. The low beam projector looks to "sunk-in" to be practical and the turn signal beam would look useless from a direct side view (looks like it could only be visible from a direct front view of the vehicle). So I guess the only thing that made them legal is the amber reflector on the side...

The high and low beam is H1 bulbs. Which is brighter then low beam H4. The amber turn signal is visible from the direct side cause the amber reflector does thin out at the edge to allow amber light to shine through and there is the ripple inside to spread the light out.
