I have a 4 puck stage 3 Spec clutch. I heard that they are no that great on the street everyday. I am going turbo very soon so I thought that it would be a good clutch. I had one in my stang and in my LS1. They were both pucked. I just though that they were a little rough when you just get moving.

 

So it's unsprung?

 

what do you mean by sprung. I think it is with the copper springs in the middle

So there are no down sides.

 

Yea I am installing it right now. I just broke the wheel nuts loose to get the axles out

 

Since it has springs, it should engage more 'friendlier' than an unsprung one. Unsprung ones hit hard.

 

Upsides: Engages fast.

Downside: Engages harsh. Wears fast.

 

I couldn't get used to how quick and hard it engaged on my HB for regular street driving. For launching and tearing through gears :thumbup:
