Default Removing power steering problem

Ok, I removed the pump, the belt, and the pully, but I cant seem to get rid of the hose. How do I take the hose out and also do I have to remove this??

hose is bolted down into the steering rack. you'll have block it off.

you still have to remove the power steering lines going from the rack to the cooler and back.

3 lines to block off completely.

that high pressure line you see in the picture has another braided line inside which is a bitch. best thing to do would be to cut the line really close to the steering rack. and block it there.

and run the other 2 lines into one another. before you run the lines into each other .turn the rack left and right a few time till it stops squirting out fluid. cause too much fluid will cause too much pressure build up and you'll squirt fluid left and right.

and the box is for your cruise control unplug it, unbolt it and remove the cable runnign to it from you firewall, and the gas pedal. easy to do.
