Default maybe new engine, wat to do

i have the chance to pick up a b18c5 and my friend will buy my b18c.... Im going to do that,but i was planning to turbo the b18c but since the b18c5 will be a little more powerfull i was thinking supercharge or should i still turbo and if so how will it hold and what psi should i keep it at??? thanks

run low boost. the higher compression just means you gotta have it tuned well to get reliable results. less room for error that's all, but you'll make more hp per lbs of boost :thumbup:

I would say run the turbo. But it all depends on what you plan on doing wiht the car, (ie daily driver, strictly track ect...) But over all I think turbo is the way to go with running low boost. :thumbup:

what do you got done to your GSR motor right now?

have you taken it to the track? if so, what are your times?

IMO, i've always appreciated the C5 motor as a naturally aspirated beast and putting a turbo in it is like turbo'in spoon motors (ohhh, damn Fast and Furious)

all motor was a thought..... but a turbo would be sooooooooooo fast but it is a daily driver.... im just always looking for more power & speed. if i went all motor and just built the c5 what kind of times am i looking at???? thanks for ur opinions

I'd get the C5 and leave it N/A. R's were meant for N/A, although you still see people boosting them.

just keep the c1 and turbo it. i think it's pointless of wasting the time/effort of swapping in a c5 when the c1 is already a potent powerplant
