Hey Dubs heres my suggestion...
Stick with your stock bumper and add a mugen lip , si grill and when you lower it , it looks even better because a 96-98 bumper is lower than a 99-00. As for people spending money to do a conversion its not even worth it because most people never even see the difference. But i know as honda fanatics we do... but instead of 1000 dollars into the frontbumper would you rather but it into the engine ????

Umm.. the '99-'00 SI lips is definatly lower than the '96-'98 stock lip. :nono: Unless your saying by adding on the Mugen lip then its lower and that I am not for sure.

what i was saying is that if you have a 99 ex and a 98 ex the 98 is lower not bye much but its bumper is(or so i heard) with a lip on them a 98 ex mugen lip and a 99 si stock si lip. the 98 is lower

Thank You txhatch
You understand were im coming from. Theres no point in making your car look like something its not. Be proud of your 96 and build your engine up or swap or whatever your going to do . You would get much more respect running 14's with a turbo than you would with a 99-00 front end conversion.

either you need the 99-00 rad support, or you need to slightly moddify the 96-98's to fit. Talk to NeverBX, he recently did the conversion.

however, I've with narib on this one. Actually, I perfer the 96-98 front end....
