Default Exhaust Dillema

Alright, heres my problem. Im 16, and in my state, you cant drive with anyone the first 6 months you have your license, and I regulary drive with people, so I dont want to attract any extra police attention to my car. I hate the look of the stock exhaust on the civic, its just so small, so I want to get a new exhaust, but it has to be super quiet, almost stock, because all I really want is the look of it, Im not into perfomance, my car is an automatic, so theres no point in spending hundreds of dollars on some cat back system like Apexi WS or something similar.

Basically, Im having a hard time deciding what to do. I could get a muffler, maybe HKS or Apexi, but both of those would be loud, which Im not looking for. I could get just a tip, which would give me my stock sound but it would be better looking. I could also just forget about the whole thing and leave it how it is. Another bonus to leaving it stock is that when I sell the car, the resale value wont go down, and people wont think Im some ricer who drove the car really hard. Im leaning towards just getting the tip or leaving it stock. If you were in my situation, what would you do? Keep in mind Im not looking for perfomance, I have an automatic

ES oval mufflers are relatively quiet, and pretty cheap, but they dont look much different from stock, just larger piping (2.25" or 2.5"). Definitely wouldn't attract too much attention that way.

:edit: although if I had no performance plans for the car, I'd just leave it stock.

Where could I get one of those? You said it looks close to stock, but really what im looking for is something that doesnt look like stock but sounds more or less like stock. Ill look into that though.

you can get them at jdmhondaparts.com. I kinda think a completely stock car with some big, watermelon launcher muffler is kinda :ghey: tho, JMO.

Yeah thats kind of what Im leaning towards, I dunno if just a tip would look gay or not, Im still thinking about it. I just dont wanna get a catback cus Im not really looking for performance, and just a muffler might be too loud for me, and if I sold the car it would be a bitch to take off and install the stock one.

well, if youre trying not to attract any attention, having a big shiny exhaust tip wont be helping either. Cops sometimes look for that kinda stuff.

Its not really the attention part actually, I should have been more specific, I just dont want to get pulled over for having a super loud exhaust.
