NO it's being smart I don't want to spend a week without my car I'd rather get it done in one day

Not all of us have the luxury of paying somebody else to deal with burning rubber and pounding on susp. components with totally unsuited tools :db:

I do my own work, sometimes with the help of HatchVX.
HatchVX does all of his own work (with a recent minor exception,) sometimes with the help of me.

i always do my own stuff, you cant be considered a racer if you cant fix your own car.

only thing i got done was my timing belt just because i had no place to do it myself so i just took it in and it only took 1 hour.

True. You gotta realize that I've been out of college for 10 years already So I guess I DO have the luxury

I'm one of those people who has more time (not really...) than money so I do the work myself. Sometimes friends or my brother help out but they now have more money than time so I try not to bother them unless they're in the mood to help out anyway.

Actually, if I've got a clear schedule and I've had something to eat, I kind of enjoy working on my car at my own pace.
