here's some food for thought for you. In the audio dept., instead of paying so much money for a sub, that in my personal opinion is good for nothing but DB drag, spend a little less on an alpine Type R DVC. They sound great and still produce a lot of bump. Plus, the Type R is a helluva lot tighter than a JLW7. As far as the components go, once again I'm not a big fan of RF. I'd go with something like polk, alpine, boston, or JL. They all sound much better.

As far as your wheels go, take a look at the slipstreams as well. They're a little lighter wieght wise than the Grinds and in my opinion look alot better esp. black on silver. Anyways, that's what I'm running on. Gives the car a whole raced out look.

:werd: I spent A LOT of money on stereo when I first got my car, just because my buddy was the manager of car toys and really hooked me up, but I've regretted it ever since. I personally would get a brake swap, and some sway bars to go with your springs/shocks first, then stereo(but don't go overboard), and then start saving up for the motor. The more money you have, the better motor/build up you will have. I really like the idea of building up your motor in the garage until youre old enough. When do you turn 18?

The rest of the money will goto the motor. Thsi thread helped me save a lot of money

1) Grids work
2) RF sucks
3) Kenwoods not too bad, but I'd go either kicker or JL audio
4) I wouldn't do it, but its your car
5) probably better than undropped with steelies
