How to stop wheel hop

wow, I thought the dude was talking every day driving here. ie. going to work. 0-30 times are are pretty narrow between all civics. Unless youre draggin, I see no need for the wheel hop to even be avoided.

MOst of the time it's worn motor mount bushings and suspension bushings. When I replaced all my suspension bushings most of my wheel hop went away, now I have to replace the motor mount bushings and I'll be peachy.

Yes the idea is to get off the line as fast as possible, but you need to hook up to do that, and if your wheels are hopping it's just slowing it up. Practice launches in a parking lot or something and just find out where in the RPM range you can launch w/o breaking the tires loose and try to consistantly launch at that RPM. Of course, the afformentioned mods would greatly help as well.
