Default Used my free G-Tech meter today.

I got this from a friend who won at the Honda Fest at Englishtown last weekend.

Input the car's weight with me in it full tank of gas, subwoofer, spare tire and jack: approximately 2800lbs. Ran 150hp to the wheels. 0-60 in 6.2 seconds. At Englishtown on a HOT & HUMID day I ran a 16.3 @ 90mph. NOw this run was with a spark plug wire loose and a crack in my exhaust manifold.

You have to realize that your hp is dependant on how accurate the weight you put in. I take my car to the truck scales in town and weigh it there. Plus when I get my car corner weighed his scales are perfect.

That's weight with no gas in the car. So figure a gallon of gas weighs 6-7lbs and our Civics hold 12 gallons + your weight - the mods on your car (whether they be lighter or heavier).

My car stock is 2612lbs. With my mods now it weighs 2500lbs with 1/8 tank of gas. With me in it it weighs 2700lbs. Then add in more gas and spare and jack.

Gas is heavy, I always tell ppl, why I only ever fill up half way. On a 10 gallon tank, that's saving like 50 pounds.

This thread made me finally get my facts straight, I was going off of a gallon of milk which is ~8 lbs.

I found a link that says:
water:8.3 lbs
gas: 5.6 lbs.

Well, be never filing above halfway, still says me 25lbs.

And if I was hardcore like civicsiracer, who only fills to 1/8 tank, I could save another 10 lbs.
