Sounds right to me,
Aren't there higer wattage harnesses you can get? Wouldn't that protect your wiring with higher wattage bulbs? I am wondering if I did that, would that be too bright for oncoming traffic?

Thoughts?

If our cars even had highbeams on, it would not be as bright as most other luxury cars' normal headlights. It's 100/95 i think. it's legal tho.

i never knew how people melted their wiring. on higher wattage bulbs. i used those 80/100 bulbs that were rice but actually are brighter i noticed.. no melting

55/60 stock
80/100 for those rice blue ones.

I've heard people say they used higher wattage bulbs then stock and their harnesses melted. I am assuming there is a reason that they make the tougher upgrade harness.
