Another  for the Skunk2's. They survived a wild ride over some curbs this past winter. The ride is good too.

I am planning on buying Coilovers for my 99' Civic. The question I have is when I purchase the Coilovers will I have to buy new shocks too? The reason I am asking is I really don't have the money to put in for new shocks. If I have to buy shocks I will be able to get the money some how. I had Coil Overs on my 93 Civic and when I got them I had to buy new shocks, the reason I think that I needed new shocks was that the car was a 93' and the shocks most likely were not changed. Also one of the nuts was seized up. Will that be a factor on my car? I would think on a car that is only 4 years old would not need new shocks but I could be wrong. The car might have new shocks b/c the Previous owner had lowered the car less than 1/2 inch so he/she might have bought shocks when they got the car lowered

How hard is it to intstall Coilovers on a 99' Civic? On a Scale from 1-10 what is the difficulty

The reason I did not take the coilovers of the car b/c the car was too damaged from when I got in an accident

I thought you said your car was lowered now? You shouldn't lower your car without putting on new struts irregardless of how old they are. stock struts aren't made to be constantly run at a lowered state.

Get new struets.

Oh, and struts/coils aren't that hard to replace. I'd say a 6/7 if you've never done it before.

Are struts the shocks? Is it a must to get new struts? could I use my factory shocks/struts until I get new shocks/struts? If I have to get struts do you have any websites that I can go to or suggestions on what type of struts I should get?

Default Shocks/Struts

If I do buy new shocks what type should I get? Are there any shocks that are good for a resonable price? Koni Yellows are too expensive for me. Are Koni Reds good?

What About a Full Tein Coliover setup? Does anybody have any links for the right set up for my car? I have looked at Places that have Tein Coilovers but I can't Find out which one I need to get.
