i went to the nopi racewars the other day and i saw a black del sol with these taillights that ive never seen b4...it looked like it was the stock tailights then like a blaick cover over them ..with circles cut out at points in the light so the light was visible...if any one has ne clue what im talkin bout can u let me know what there called ??

sounds to me like some moron that blacked them out and put little circles for the light to come thru. I see that crap around here all the time.

instead of paintin it black why didnt you go body color? would be way smarter.

Because trying to paint green over orange plastic would turn out to an ugly shit-brown color.

And if I paint it on too thick the light won't shine through.

Very good point. I was wondering about these tail lights. They're altezzas, but they're black like my car and not that ugly chrome plastic color. I really like them because they remind me of s2k lights, but I've never seen them in person


Have any of you seen these in person? I really like them in this picture. I don't have the cash or experience to do an s2k tail conversion. I just want to know if they look decent at all.
