the thing is, i dont like how hood pins look. but i really need the reassurance that my hood will not fly off. i guess they wouldnt have to be black but some kind of dark color to blend in and not stick out as much as silver. aight, thanks, peace.

I think that there are hood locks, and not pins that are black. There is a member here with a yellow hatch with black hood locks. I'm not sure if they were painted or not though.

also, i never really thought of this before but should i get hood "pins" or hood "locks"? im thinking hood locks do the same as hood pins except they keep your hood safer from being opened by theives. is this so? thanks again, peace.
