Default how can i tell if......

i have an aftermarket cam? what would i be looking for?

I'm sorry, but you ahve some really lame questions... You post "oh ok" just to boost your post count, and you talk about stupid junk.

ANYWAY, do you know where your cam is? Look at it... Unless you get a micrometer and compare it to the specs, there's almost no way to tell. I've seen a few that will have a mark on them with the brand, but it's rare.

What kind of cam do you suspect you have? If you have itr or ctr cams, there will be a ring or rings around the intake cam. But I think you have to remove it to tell.

i have absolutly no idea what cam i have, if its stock or not i was going to pull the head off and take a look but i guess it isnt worth it if i wont beable to tell.

Dude, don't pull your head off. TOO much trouble just for curiousity's sake. Of course you could put a block gaurd in while you doing it. Yeah, Yeah there's your excuse.

you just pull the valve cover off. not the head.

takes about 2 mins to do.
but still it'll look normal.
