Default Nitrous Questions

Alright I am clueless when it comes to nitrous. I have a 1997 Ex 125hp with a CAI and exhaust system. Would it be safe to run 50 shot, and is that something I would just punch when I wanted to go fast or is that something that would be pumping all the time. Would I blow a head gasket (with 50 shot)? How fast do you all normally go through a tank and how do you replace that?
Thanks, I'm dumb.

I have no N2O experience either, but I can answer a couple of those... Nitrous is something that you would only use when you want to go fast. Like, push the button and "Wheee!" How fast you go through a bottle depends on how often you spray and how big of a tank you have. The only places I've heard of that refill bottles are racetracks and some performance shops. Hope that helps a little. h:

Generally, stock honda blocks will take up to 50% overall hp boost safely, whether it's nitrous or turbo. You can set a fuel controller to open it up at any % throttle. ex: full boost at 30% throttle. Most nitrous systems work with the push button, but all can be controlled by throttle with the right controller.
You might start at a 50 shot, but you probably could run 60 if your motor is in good health.

Sorry, forgot to say: IF YOU DON'T UPGRADE YOUR CLUTCH BEFORE you put the bottle on, you will HAVE TO afterwards.
