Default SIR v.s. SI

What is the difference between the 2000 Canadian SIR and my 2000 SI, other that leather seats……..they have the same power don’t they

canadians have abs and heated sideview mirrors. the leather was an option for both places.

Canadians tend to drive like little old ladies...so I'm going to venture to say that the Canadian models are a lot less powerful. :fawk:

i've seen leather si seats...looks nice, black with "si" in red. same power but in canada, you can get any trim level civic in electron blue, i found that interesting but it just doesn't look right with the hubs and black moldings

not a factory option..you are correct, but it was a DEALER offered option. when i bought my 2000 si there was a guy picking up his ex civic that had just gotten the leather treatment. i've seen numerous si's with optional leather interior. the Si is embroidered in red.

leather was not a factory option in the us for any civics to date.

you can usually get the car sent out to a local place by the dealer at time of purchase to have leather and/or heated seats added, and it can be included in the final price (financing is possible this way)
