Question about shift knob

does anyone know if this shift knob just screws on like the original factory one?

I thought so till I saw that bolt....mabye the bolt fits into the bottom of the knob then screws on....i duno...but if it's not a screw on...the directions on how to do it are gonna be in Japanese...the Type R stuff I bought was...

yes i have a SIMILAR one, BUT heres what you do.. thread it on without the bolt as far as it will go.. you will notice the numbers are crooked.. so then you un thread it.. drop a little locktight into the knob and screw it back on ALMOST completely BUT don't go the last full turn.. just turn the LAST one till the numbers are staight.. then let it dry and you are set. throw the nut in the trash.. you don't need it.. ihave had MANY knobs.. momo, other honda (gsr) whatever.. and i STILL like this knob the best.. i got the non bling brushed looking one

so then what is the point of the nut? so inside the knob its threaded to fit onto the stick?

the nut will let you hook it up in a ghey way.. just follow my instructions and you will be happy = )

i got the same one but not chrome and my numbers light up red. yea, i threw the nut away too, the locktight works like a charm.
