i used to use Mobil 1, but i didn't notice much of a difference from pennzoil synthetic
now i use castrol syntec and i still change my oil and filter every 3k miles

I used to be a big Mobil 1 user until recently. Now I'm using AMSOIL and this stuff is great. 
35,000 mile oil changes (of course changing the filter every 3000-4000 miles) and it has made my mpg go up too.
