Default leaky roof

yeah, I've got another problem with my car.. but it's just a little one. My passenger door has a little leak. Its where the roof meets the car in the front. (i can't describe it better than that) Does anyone know what I can do about this?

Thanks!
Trina

I had this problem when i first bought my sol. I followed the directions on teamdelsol.com to tighten the roof. It worked for a while, then it developed a rattle somewhere in the door and the top leaks every now and then. So to make a short story long, I think it is just something we have to live with as sol owners.

time for new seals... Get em from honda, and a tube of caulk from the auto parts store, and put them in yourself. It's EASY!!! Just takes some time.

I read somwhere that pre 1995 Del Sols may benefit from installing the post-1995 model seals. Apparently these are larger/redisgned to address this problem of leaks.

I think the seals are about $50.00 a piece in the US. I personally use red rubber grease - a red pure silicon grease which is extremely thick and water resistant, seals and reduces those silly squeaks afforded by the overly flexible chassis.

Warmest Regards
