Hmm... If it's all 4, you might be in luck. :happysad: Here's what I think. Ingalls has probably made thousands of these kits and I'm sure many variations exist. Look on the bright side, if those cylinders just won't budge, they probably don't move at all. That means no squeaks from that area. I think you can just concentrate on lubing up the other possible sourches of squeaks (even the metal to metal contact surfaces of the inside of the cylinder and the bolt and the poly matting surfaces to the control arm) and install them. Just make sure to lube anything that moves and you'll probably be fine.

I know it sounds like a pain, but I bet if you do hear squeaks later on down the line, you can remove them and you'll find that the metal cylinder has broken free. Let us know how it goes.

BTW, do you have a digital camera? Feel like taking pics of the kit? I'm just curious as to whether it's the same type I've been installing.

I don't have a digital camera but my friend does, I might grab a few pics. Mine are somewhat different from yours but the cylinder parts look the same, I'll just put em on without taking em out and see what happens. Thanks for your help and I will let ya know how it goes. Thanks again man!

Sounds good. If you can, definitely take pics. They might be designed to work slightly differently. Good luck and have fun with the install. Oh, and no problem and definitely let us know how it turns out.

I prefer to put it in but I know of some people who haven't who don't seem to have any problems. Basically the bridge just helps to distribute the forces of that part of the control arm evenly over a larger area so that the shock tower doesn't get bent at those points.
