How do you tighten something to a specific ft-lbs of torque? Sorry to sound n00bish, gotta learn sometime.

get a torque wrench, set torque rating on wrench, tighten down till you hear click of torque wrench.

theres a beam type and a pre-set type. the beam type has a gauge and you just tighen to where you want on the gauge and the pre-set type you adjust to presettings on the handle and tighten, like snoopy said, until it clicks
